Sea Cadets get help from Rotary

The Board of Directors has been working with the Sea Cadets to determine how we could best help them with a number projects at their Sail Center on the north shore of Pittock Lake. James Stewart took the lead on this and has been working hard arranging funding
and material to get the docks repaired and floating in time for the opening on May 24th.
Thanks to James work we have obtained lumber from OWL Distribution and brackets from a client of his. The docks were assembled using the original plastic barrels and put in place.
Next on the list of things to do is to replace the metal roof and extend it over the deck on the building. We will then look at the siding an see if that can be fixed up.
Please get in touch with James if you want to assist on this project. At this point the club has just supplied time and talent but we are checking to see if there is some funding available that we could use to help with this project.
