Indwell, formally known as Homestead Christian Care, has been in operation for 40 years, 10 of which in Oxford County. 
Indwell creates affordable housing communities of people who rely on the Ontario Disability Support program for their income,  that support people seeking health, wellness and belonging. They value the inherent dignity of all people as an image of God were people can live loving their neighbours as they do themselves with having a foundation of Hope in the actions of themselves and others.
Indwell is committed to developing active, functional tenant-led councils at every facility they own, develop services based on direct input from tenants and creating neighbourhoods and community.
Indwell has purchased the Harvey Woods factory location on Vansittart Ave Woodstock and has transformed this into 54 affordable,  to ODSP shelter allowance,  (average rent for a 1 bdroom in Woodstock is $796 where the shelter  allowance for a single person on ODSP is $479) apartments welcoming the first residents in April 2015 to Harvey Woods Lofts.
To show the vast need for these units, Indwell are sifting through over 90 applications for 54 units.  These units are housed in a building that also offers a computer room, coin operated barrier free laundry room, fitness room and barrier free community kitchen.
Applicants are adult children living at home; couch surfing adults, homeless people or those living in motels.
